Howard Lederer was born into in a family of 5 where he loved playing numerous card games at a young age. He discovered himself becoming really aggressive in these card games while playing his father. Howard Lederer also assisted his sibling Annie Duke master the game of poker. Annie Duke was a superb student of poker as she would always be asking questions about the right way to make the correct decision. Howard told Annie to head out to Sin City and play in the World Series of Poker competition. Annie is one of the strongest women players the poker arena has ever seen. Howard relocated to Vegas in 1993 and competed in cash games for the next 10 years. When the World Poker Tournament gained popularity, Howard made the decision to participate in more tournaments.
