Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that players bet against other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their cash.
One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.
It’s also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with just a tiny bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
